September 5, 2026 – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: RGCC International, a global leader in circulating tumor cell (CTC) testing and personalized oncology, participated in the 2026 National Cancer Congress Malaysia, held in collaboration with the National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM). The congress brought together healthcare leaders, clinicians and policymakers committed to improving cancer care and patient outcomes across the country.
RGCC's participation follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between RGCC Southeast Asia and NCSM in July 2026, which aims to introduce and facilitate access to therapeutic sensitivity testing for eligible cancer patients within Malaysia's public healthcare sector, a meaningful step forward in bringing precision oncology capabilities to Malaysian patients.
A particular highlight of the congress was the presentation of an award to Dr. Ioannis Papasotiriou, Founder and Director of RGCC, by His Royal Highness Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-Lah, in recognition of RGCC’s contributions to advancing personalized oncology.
RGCC looks forward to building on this momentum through its continued collaboration with NCSM, working together to expand access to precision oncology for cancer patients across Malaysia.
