Cookie & Data Policies

Who we are

Our website address is: https://rgcc-international.com

  • What personal data we collect and why we collect it

    Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

    Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

    Social Media

On our websites we have embedded links to our company sites on social media networks. This is typically visible to you via the corresponding icons. If you click on the icons, you will be redirected to our sites on the social media network. It is possible that the social media provider registers your visit and assigns it to your user account. The providers may use your personal data for their own purposes. Please check the respective privacy policy of the social media network to get more information.

    Cookies

During the course of any visit to our site, the pages you see, along with a short text file called a ‘cookie’, are downloaded to your computer. Many websites do this, because cookies facilitate useful features such as the ability to identify whether a user has successfully logged into the site, or to find out whether the computer (and probably its user) has visited the website before.

This site uses cookies – small text files that are placed on your machine to help the site provide a better user experience. In general, cookies are used to retain user preferences, store information for things like shopping baskets, and provide anonymised tracking data to third party applications like Google Analytics. As a rule, cookies will make your browsing experience better. However, you may prefer to disable cookies on this site and on others. The most effective way to do this is to disable cookies in your browser. If cookies are disabled for our sites, it may no longer be possible to use all the functions of the sites to their full extent. Instructions for the most popular browsers can be found here:

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

    Information you provide to us

Your privacy is important to us. By providing personal information such as your name and email address via the forms on this website, you agree to us contacting you with regard to the information you request.

We will not pass your details to any other government department or third party, unless we are required by law to do so. In that case we will take reasonable measures to ensure only the necessary data will be used in law enforcement proceedings (e.g. by requesting redaction or anonymisation of non-essential information, if feasible).

    Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google, whereby Google Ireland Ltd is responsible for the processing of personal data. Google utilises the data collected to track and examine the use of websites, to prepare reports on its activities for R.G.C.C. and to share them with other Google services. Google may use the data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

    Google Ads Conversion Tracking

With Google Ads Conversion Tracking, a cookie is set on your device if you have reached our website via a Google ad. The processing is for the purpose of tracking and performance determination.

    Google Maps

We embed Google Maps on our website, whereby Google Ireland Ltd is responsible for the processing of personal data. For the purpose of using the functions of Google Maps, your IP address is stored and any other data you enter, such as your address. This data is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA. We have no influence on this data transfer.

    Google reCAPTCHA

We use Google reCAPTCHA, whereby Google Ireland Ltd. is responsible for the processing of personal data. Google reCAPTCHA asks visitors to do a small task - usually requiring a tick in a box - that is easy for a human but almost impossible for a bot. In this way, Google reCATPCHA ensures as far as possible that only human website visitors can submit a particular form. Cookies are also used in this process.

    Google Tag Manager

We use the Google Tag Manager on our website. This collects data about user behaviour on our website and forwards it to our analysis tools. Google Tag Manager does not have access to the data, it only collects the data.

To get more information about how Google is using your data, check Google’s privacy policy.

  • Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

    YouTube

The integration of YouTube videos is carried out via a plug-in. As soon as you visit one of our pages equipped with a plug-in, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. The servers are informed which of our sub-pages you have visited. For more information, check Google’s privacy policy.

  • How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

  • What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

  • Where we send your data

Visitor comments and forms may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

For that purpose, we use the service “CleanTalk” by CleanTalk Inc., Address: 711 S Carson street, suite 4, Carson city, NV, 89701, USA. By using this site, your IP address can be stored and processed for security reasons. Your IP address may be saved in the server log files, CMS log files and CleanTalk Anti-Spam & Security log files. CleanTalk can use Cookies to manage access to the website by the CleanTalk SpamFireWall Function, to secure and to protect this site from spam.

  • How do we keep this Policy up to date?

We will update our policies and this Cookie Policy when necessary to reflect customer feedback and changes in our products and services. When we post changes to this statement, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of the relevant policies. If the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice (including, for certain services, email notification). We will also keep prior versions of our policies and this Cookie Policy in an archive for your review.
